By day I am a mild mannered underwriting assistant for an insurance company.  Evenings and weekends, I unleash my true passion, performing on stage! 

From 1999 to 2008 I performed with the group ACTS at the First Baptist Church of Scottsdale, Arizona.  We performed ‘slice of life’ scenes that accompanied the church service.  I participated in every possible capacity: actor, voice over, assistant director, director, light/sound tech, set design, construction & props manager; everything but sweeping up after the elephants!  

In 2003 a sister group was formed, MasterPeace Productions which combined church and community artists.  One of their ventures was to produce a full length show each summer.  Productions include "You Can't Take It With You", "Sentimental Journey" - an original 1940's musical review, "Arsenic & Old Lace" and "Shaboom!" an original 1950's musical review.  I had the privilege to participate in all of these productions.

 
This gave me the confidence to step outside the church walls and into community theatre.   This expanded my resume to include performances of "Dearly Departed", "Talk Radio", "Little Women", "American Pastorella - Road to the Whitehouse" and "Romeo & Juliet". Click on the Showcase tab to see photos from some of the shows I've been in.

 
But so far my greatest thrill is this - I perform a one woman docudrama entitled "Pass My Imperfections Lightly By" in which I portray Mary Todd Lincoln.  It is an amazing show!  I call it the best little show that nobody's ever seen!  It is my goal to be able to perform it for as many people as possible.  I never get tired of it!  Click on the Mary Todd Lincoln tab to see some show photos.
